Tricia is one of my dear friends. She also happens to be gorgeous. And she has gorgeous children. Lately, I have been holding on to motherhood in a different way- I want the babies to stay babies. I want my three year old to stop growing. Immediately. But since we all know that can’t happen, I will have to hold on tightly to these sweet memories we are making daily. This is what I hope for Tricia, and for these photos- that they will help her remember what it felt like to hold sweet Walker, how it felt to squeeze those scrumptious thighs and tickle that neck, and how he fully relied on her to be his mommy. I know we will love every stage, but what a blessing to be able to look back to what got us to where we are.
