I saw an amazing quote from a friend this evening, and I have to share it because this sweet family adopted this perfect baby boy, and I was thrilled to do an outdoor newborn session in the field with them. Not only that, I believe that adoption is one of the most beautiful things we witness this side of heaven. A mama loving a baby that did not grow inside of her, as much as she loves those that did. THIS. You guys- this is why I love love this quote: “She is mine in a way that she will never be hers, yet she is hers in a way that she will never be mine, and so together, we are motherhood.” Adoption picks up the pieces where it must, and makes this gorgeous mosaic of family that is inspiring and so beautiful to behold.

Happiness from these two. Twins! By the way, I give all the props to moms with twins. I do have four babies, but one newborn baby at a time was not for the faint of heart. I’m not sure how moms of multiples do it!
